2007 Cora Order Meeting and Outdoor Industry Seminar was held in Jiuhua Spa & Resort, Beijing, from August, 14 th to 15 th , which was hosted by CORA, and sponsored by Ispo China.
On the meeting, the president of CORA, Mr. YUQIN, gave an opening speech, generalizing the work that CORA had done in the past 3 years. As things stand now, CORA has established a long-time and stable relationship with the outdoor shop retailers as well as brand manufacturers. On the one hand, CORA speaks for the interests of the retailers, trying its best to reduce the conflicts between the retailers and manufacturers; on the other hand, through CORA, the brand manufacturers can have a direct access to the retail shops, stay relevant to the operating status of those retailers, and know well about terminal market.
CORA has always given the first priority to the stability of the channels and networking, fighting against the vicious competition.
When it comes to the future development of CORA, it will be focused on the improvement of CORA's service for the retailers and manufacturers, the management of the inventory and per-orders, and expanding retail channels. With 4 well-established sales network, CORA will continue to expand its network to small and medium sized cities, making CORA's products available in every corner of China . What the retailers concern is what CORA care most. So while importing products, CORA has also considered importing advanced management expertise for the retailers for reference.
At the seminar, the issues such as, the number of the outdoor shops and outdoor exhibitions, the home-make brands VS the imported ones, the chain mode and the developing trend of the outdoor industry in the years to come, were under heat discussion, involving the participation the SANFO outdoor chain stores, Xingjiang 5445 outdoor equipments, Outside magazine, and many other retailers.
Nine top international brands featured this order meeting, including JACK WOLF SKIN, COLEMAN, SALOMON, PATAGONIA , GREGORY, FOXRIVER, MASTERS, UVEX and HANWAG, with each giving a detailed brand presentation for the retailers. The retailers could place spring 2008 pre-season order and order from fall 2007 inventory. There was a great increase in terms of both the brand numbers and the product categories, compared with that of last year.
The project group manager of Ispo China also gave a speech, emphasizing on the Ispo China exhibition. According to his speech, Golf equipment, ski resort equipment and bicycle gears will be added to 2008 Ispo China .
In addition, BLACK YAK, the Korean outdoor brand, and Chengdu Renji Exploration outdoor Co., LTD. both gave a successful presentation to promote themselves.
